What You'll Experience in Worship
What we hope you'll experience in worship is a warm welcome, a safe and restorative setting, nourishment for your soul and delight for your senses. In practical terms, services run about an hour. Special music opens worship. The call-and-response format of prayer is printed in your bulletin. We pray together, sing hymns together, and share news about our community life together. Each service includes a reading from the Bible. Children may leave the service for Sunday School after the Scripture reading, although they are welcome to stay if they wish. Services also include a sermon, followed by prayers and music before the offering is collected. The benediction closes the service, along with the musical postlude.
We invite you to enjoy snacks and coffee in the Lounge afterward, during a time to get to know the people you have worshipped with.
