In Kindergarten, children are welcomed into the Plymouth Church school by a team of caring teachers.  Plymouth gives each child in Kindergarten their own copy of The Children’s Illustrated Bible. The children in the Kindergarten through Second grade class explore foundational values and stories of Christianity through interactive lessons.  Through story boxes, puppets, the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum, and special music the children are engaged in the message that God is love.  This message is foundational to our conviction that all that live in love, live in God.

Engaging My Child

Children in grades kindergarten through grade 6 are invited to a time of gathering at 9:50am in the lounge.  We call this the “10to10” time and it ends at 10:00am.  It is a simple time where games, songs, a simple prayer, or other activities introduce the children to one another and to the day’s theme or scripture.  The “10to10” time ends with children connecting to their Sunday school teacher and moving to their classroom.  Children are also welcome to go straight to their classroom at 10:00am.

As a part of our Safe Church policy we request that parents pickup their child(ren) from their classroom at 10:50am.  If it is your child’s first Sunday at Plymouth then we request that you complete a registration form provided by the Sunday school teacher.

Parents are welcome to participate and observe.
