If you are an unpaid volunteer with a non-profit organization engaged in social service, social justice or social change, you may apply on the organization’s behalf for an Inspiration Grant from Plymouth to benefit their work. Each year the Community Service and Social Action (CSSA) Board awards one-time grants of up to $2,000 each to organizations in which Plymouth members are involved and that meet eligibility criteria.
Plymouth members who sponsor the organization will be asked to provide a Herald article, church bulletin announcement and one other form of advertising for the organization during the year of the grant, to give the congregation an opportunity to learn about the organization’s work and get involved. The intent of these one-time grants is to fulfill the CSSA Board's mission to open the congregation to the transforming power of God’s spirit in ways that lead to social change.
