Our theme for our annual intergenerational camp this year is Be Transformed: Listen, Love, Live. It is based on Romans 12: 1-21, and will afford us the opportunity to be transformed in our relationships with God and with one another as we explore what living as Christians meant in those times and what it means to us now. Through worship, small groups, and just being together, we will strengthen our faith lives and our church community. Many Plymouth folks have described it as their favorite week of the year.
Camp begins on Sunday, July 22 and ends Saturday, July 28 at Camp N-Sid-Sen on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. It is an opportunity to take time away from the busy pace of our daily lives and focus on our relationships in our church community and with the Divine. Many people use it as a technology sabbath, and feel renewed by the week away unplugged from the constancy of cell phones and laptops. Time seems to slow down and there is ample time for swimming, hiking, crafts, playing games, or just hanging out. By listening to each other and to God, loving one another well, and living together in community, we will come back transformed ourselves and better equipped to be a transforming presence for the world. ALL ARE INVITED. Please join us!
