Meet a Plymouth Staff Member: Suzanne Sanderson

May 19, 2014

Suzanne Sanderson has worked as Plymouth’s Librarian for nearly eight years, and she loves her job! Truly a ‘rare breed,’ she is a fourth generation native Seattleite who has lived in the Seattle area her entire life. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Librarianship, and has had many librarianship jobs throughout her career. One of her favorite positions, before coming to Plymouth, was working as the children’s librarian at Seattle’s St. Bernadette School. Suzanne is not only an excellent librarian; she is also a strong Congregationalist, and recently served as moderator for her Mercer Island Congregational Church. You may encounter Suzanne in our library or at the traveling library cart in the lounge, the second Sunday of the month. To find out more about Suzanne, you visit our website, PlymouthChurchSeattle.org, and check out our library blog, where Suzanne writes about current church themes and shares good reads. —Len Anderson
