Make a Joyful Noise...Together!

June 9, 2014

Think of all the joyful noises you have heard in our sanctuary: a Bach organ cantata, the shriek of an infant being baptized, shared laughter at the sight of our senior minister dressed in a “twelfth man” shirt, the thunk of the bells bouncing rhythmically, voices murmuring in prayer, the Word proclaimed. All joyful noises, indeed.

The complete phrase we are using for the Sanctuary Improvement Campaign is, “Make a Joyful Noise….Together;” and together is where we need to focus now. We have less than a week until we leave the sanctuary for construction to begin. Together we look at almost $87,000 left to raise. Together, every member and friend of Plymouth has the opportunity to pledge a gift. We are not all able to make a large gift but we can each give a prayerfully considered gift. 100% of us can participate. Together we will reach our goal. Together we will move back into our sanctuary and together we will hear new joyful noises.
