Dear Plymouth Friends,
We will continue our food packing ministry at the Emergency Feeding Program 10:00-Noon this Saturday, May 7. You're invited to join us if you're able to do so!
I'll be bringing bagels, coffee and juice, so we'll have some snacks for us to enjoy during our "half time" of our food packing adventure!
The Emergency Feeding Program is located in Renton, right off of I-405 near The Landing development (Fry's Electronics, Target, etc). Feel free to send me or Hedy an email if you have any questions.
I also want to mention that on Sunday, May 22, we will have a Forum at Plymouth on Food Insecurity in Seattle/King County and programs that are addressing this need. Glenn Turner from the Emergency Feeding Program will join Susan Luth from the Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program at the Odessa Brown Clinic and Derek Farmer from the Just Garden Program at Seattle Tilth for an interesting, information-filled program. We hope you'll be able to attend this Forum. It'll be at the regular 10-11 am time.
Please share this invitation with friends who might be interested in this opportunity. Thank you for your continued support of this important ministry! -Wayne DuncanSubscribe
