Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution Prospect Congregational UCC’s Social and Environmental Justice Team (SEJT) presents a free filming of Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution, at 7 pm, Friday, June 15, followed by refreshments and discussion with a representative from Free. All are welcome. Filmmaker James Redford embarks on a colorful personal journey into the dawn of the clean energy era as it creates jobs, turns profits and makes communities stronger and healthier across the US. Unlikely entrepreneurs in communities from Georgetown, TX to Buffalo, NY reveal pioneering clean energy solutions while James’ discovery of how clean energy works, and what it means at a personal level, becomes the audiences’ discovery too. Explore issues of human resilience, social justice, embracing the future and finding hope for our survival.

The Weaving Our Strengths Conference is a day-long conference of fellowship, inspiration and skill-building to strengthen local churches’ efforts for the common good. It’s a great chance to connect across denominations, share best practices, foster spiritually-grounded action and bring insights and opportunities to your home congregation. Health Care is a Human Right Initiative 1600 would establish a comprehensive state program to pay for health care services, prescriptions and medical equipment for all Washington residents. Music Under the Stars returns to Freeway Park Join Seattle Chamber Music Society for another summer of free, outdoor classical music at Freeway Park. Bring a blanket, a picnic, family and friends to enjoy extraordinary classical music – and a free BBQ dinner (while supplies last) provided by Freeway Park Association. Events begin at 7:30 pm with live music performed by a student ensemble and continues at 8 pm with live audio broadcast of the world-class Summer Festival Concert from Benaroya Hall, provided directly to Freeway Park by Classical KING-FM 98.1, Fridays in July – July 6, 13, 20 and 27, 700 Seneca St, Seattle.

It's a Girl!  Don and Pam Miles are pleased to announce the birth of their granddaughter Audrey Catalina Dunn on April 20, 2018 at Overlake Hospital to their daughter Nicole and her husband Micheal Dunn.
