Since 1935, N-Sid-Sen, a camp and retreat center of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ, has welcomed thousands of children, youth and adults to their home on the lake for summer camp and year-round retreat experiences. N-Sid-Sen means "Point of Inspiration" in the language of the indigenous Coeur d’Alene people. Come, enjoy and immerse yourself in creation. Explore nearly 300 acres of woodlands, creeks and meadows nestled along the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Relax and sip coffee with friends on one of our many scenic decks and patios. Worship along the lakeshore or on a mountain top.
This summer you are invited to join families of every size and description for recreation, meditation, play and worship July 27–August 2 and August 2–8. Both are open to all ages and all configurations of families – singles, pairs, nuclear or extended. Families participate in most activities together, but there will be time for different age groups to gather. Campers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, faith traditions and community groups. You are welcome here.
Our days begin with morning watch at the outdoor chapel and close with evening campfires. However, porches, decks and rocking chairs may call your name; many gather after campfire with other families just to visit. We love playing music and there’s space for you to bring your instrument and join in – no matter your skill level. At the lake, options include swimming, pedal boating, canoeing, paddle boarding, tubing and skiing. Bring your sunscreen and enjoy the water.
