Plymouth Healing Communities held its Third Annual Opening the Door to Hope fundraising event on Friday, September 17. This was the second year the annual fundraiser was held virtually in accordance with CDC and State of Washington guidelines due to COVID.
About 148 attendees live-streamed the 40-minute program, which included a heartfelt testimonial from a current House of Healing resident, a live auction, raise the paddle, and lively music from the "House Band." Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone enjoyed the experience.
As the only major fundraising event for Plymouth Healing Communities, Opening the Door to Hope is trending toward meeting its fundraising goal to support operation of PHC's six properties, and provide program and resource needs for residents.
