Through the month of June, gifts earmarked Pentecost Special Offering will be divided evenly between Strengthen the Church and Plymouth UCC’s Welcome Circle to continue God’s work, settling an Afghan Family.

Strengthen the Church special offering reflects the shared commitment of people across the United Church of Christ to cooperatively build up the UCC. Conferences and the national setting equally share the gifts given by members and friends through their local congregations. National funds raised support leadership development, new churches, youth ministry, and innovation in existing congregations of which 60% of our new congregations in the UCC are diverse racial ethnic and LGBTQ churches. The Pacific Northwest Conference UCC portion is split evenly between support for Church Vitality Grants and the Minister for Church Vitality position.

Our contributions to the Pentecost Special Offering expand the UCC’s still speaking welcome nationally, within our conference and Plymouth UCC itself by helping these ministries grow. Thank you for your faithful and generous giving -- you make a world of difference.
