Refugee Artisan Initiative Inaugural Gala
6 pm Friday, March 22
Mercer Island Community Center
8236 SE 24th St, Mercer Island
Join Plymouth's Sponsor Circle at Refugee Artisan Initiative's Inaugural Gala, featuring a global meal, beverages, live auction, and dessert. During this multi-cultural celebration, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about RAI's work, meet the artisans, and support the mission.
Our Afghan family has benefited greatly from the support of the Refugee Artisan Initiative. The mom sews projects at home to sell that are provided by RAI. She is able to contribute to her family income and also to learn new skills. Over time they can help her start her own business. The Sponsor Circle from Plymouth is buying a table at the fundraiser. We have one seat left, the cost is $156. If that is a little much you can just buy an individual ticket for $125. Please help us fill our table. Please contact Christine Hanson if you are interested.
Refugee Artisan Initiative partners with refugee and immigrant women to foster an inclusive, prosperous transition to the US through artisan skills training and micro business development. They seek to create a community that values and invests in refugee and immigrant women as they achieve economic independence. Learn more and get involved at RefugeesArts.org.
