Can you help Plymouth Healing Communities reach our goal of $10,000 this month for our Beacon Hill community residents? Your contributions will be used to purchase gardening tools, native shrubbery, compost & mulch, and landscape materials to provide:
- a labyrinth for meditative walks,
- benches for resting and mindful contemplation,
- a perennial pollinator flowering garden that will populate this garden sanctuary with bees, butterflies, and other helpful insects,
- stone and passive water features to enhance the anxiety-reducing effects of this meditative space.
The epidemic of housing insecurity in Seattle, Washington has no vaccine, or booster – the extent of which is escalated by mental health struggles that incapacitate our capacity to maintain stable housing and employment. Plymouth Healing Communities stands firmly at the intersection of homelessness and mental illness by providing vulnerable Seattle-ites with the warm, welcoming embrace of a loving community and permanent housing options.
Our team of radically compassionate volunteers, employees, and board members work to rebuild lives and rekindle hope under the avalanche of personal tragedies and hold space for tenants to tend to their mental health through our on-site therapeutic programs.
You can make a difference by helping us meet our fundraising goal to expand our on-site garden.
