It is Holy Week. We know the story from the excitement of Palm Sunday to the depths of Good Friday to the wonder - and the disbelief - of the Resurrection. Every Christian has their idea of who Jesus was and who he was not, of how he looked (unlikely that it was anything like the depiction on this Easter card), of what he did.
We know that Jesus lived on this earth more than two thousand years ago. We know where he lived. We know that he had a family and friends and followers. He was a historical character.
Was Jesus King of the Jews? Was He the Son of God?
Mark 15:2: So Pilate questioned Him, "Are You the King of the Jews?" "You have said so," Jesus replied.
Luke 22:70: So they all asked, "Are You then the Son of God?" He replied, "You say that I am."
There is a lot that we don't know, a lot that history doesn't tell us and that the Bible doesn't tell us. But like the still-speaking God, there is the still-living Christ.
