A group of us from the Investment Committee went down to the Pike Place Market to visit one of our borrowers and we urge you all to do the same.
Ventures Marketplace lends money and trains budding entrepreneurs on how to start and run a business. Seventy of their borrowers sell items at their shop in the Market. I got earrings for my granddaughter’s upcoming birthday, while others bought fun towels and more jewelry, along with Alaskan art. It is a fun, well put together shop with a wide variety of items at varying prices.
To get there, head from Rachel, the pig, down the nearby stairs, hang a right and they are third or fourth shop on your left.
Enjoy…and buy! Thanks!
