“God has yet more light and truth to break forth from the Word.” -John Robinson
Plymouth Library offers an outstanding collection of materials for all ages of Plymouth congregation members to use and borrow. The above quotation is inscribed on a banner above the doorway of our library, to reflect the United Church of Christ heritage and ecouragement of lifelong learning.
Plymouth Library is managed by the Library Committee and part-time Librarian Suzanne Sanderson.
To operate Sunday mornings, the Library needs volunteers. If you love books, volunteer! Training is provided. There are several ways you can serve:
- Volunteer in the Library. Provide a friendly welcome for Library users, and help people find, check in and check out materials. Time commitment: 10 am to 11 am Sunday mornings, 1x/month.
- Volunteer for Library book cart. Help library users check out books from a selection displayed during Hospitality Hour. Time commitment: about 45 minutes during Hospitality hour, Sundays, once a month.
- Serve on Library Committee. Time commitment: monthly meetings, plus some additional volunteering as your schedule allows.
