Traveling with Children

Lots of people think traveling with children is scary.  Too complicated, too much to pack, too many risks. Is travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness?

Mark Twain wrote that "travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness". I first read that on a shoe box from Banana Republic back in the days when they made "travel and safari clothing". Share the joy of reading - again and again

I was recently at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art where I saw this installation of life-sized porcelain figures - a storyteller and her rapt audience. Of course I was drawn to it. As an outreach program, I read to students from the preschool that rents space at Plymouth during the weekdays.
