“A God who causes or allows evil is not someone we can trust. We can trust the God of uncontrolling love.” -Thomas Jay Oord
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the nature of God, as seminarians are known to do! As a result, this upcoming event with author Thomas Jay Oord caught my eye. It was promoted in the Herald last week. I want to invite other Plymouth folks to join me for the event and for a discussion afterward over lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Purchase tickets here (tickets are $10, but all are welcome regardless of ability to pay) and email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know you will be coming, so I can make restaurant arrangements.
Saturday, February 8, 10:30 am-12:00 pm at The Well is located at Queen Anne United Methodist Church (1606 5th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119). I’m looking forward to a dynamic discussion.
Feel free to contact us at email@example.com or call us at 206-282-4307. This talk is part of our annual theme "Surviving and Thriving During Anxious Times.”Subscribe
