"Me Too," by Lucinda Guthrie

October 23, 2018

I know it’s hard to think that we could ever ruin our lives/for the sake of mankind/and live for our rights/ for women alive.

Chorus: Cause I’m gonna say me too and it’s not for you, it’s for me for women everywhere. And I’m gonna say me too, and I’ll shout louder than you, tell the world that what I’m saying is true.

You think I’m scared of fighting for our lives/and you think I think that I can’t even try/but I’m standing strong, my head held high.

Chorus: For women alive, for the sake of mankind, me too 2x

There’s no changing my mind. I'm a woman, and strong, and I’ll say me too.

Chorus

There’s no changing my mind. I'm a woman, and strong, and I’ll say me too.

(Lucinda Guthrie sang her original composition Sunday, October 21, with her brother Calvin on drums.)
