Advent Festival Potluck This Sunday

November 27, 2018

Advent begins this Sunday. The Advent season begins four Sundays before Christmas, and means “coming” in Latin. During Advent, we anticipate the coming of Jesus into the world. We use the Advent season to prepare for and remember the meaning of Christmas.

Join us this Sunday, December 2, for an all-church potluck lunch and Advent Festival after the 10:30 service in Hildebrand Hall. Bring food and good cheer to share with the gathered community. Pick up your Advent devotional, decorate a devotional candle, write a prayer on a paper dove that will be hung in the Sanctuary, pick up some holly, and more! Hear about the ways that we can support KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) through our holiday drive as a church community. Please come. All ages are welcome and encouraged -- see you there!
