Join your colleagues for “The Cura Animarum: Care of Souls Conference” February 22-24 at Washington State History Museum in Tacoma. Find out more and register at www.fstnw.org/souls.
The C. G. Jung Institute of Seattle and the Washington Pastoral Counseling Association co-sponsor this national Jungian conference for depth-oriented professionals who long to foster the central presence of soul in profession and vocation.
Presenters are well-versed in this ancient Care of Souls tradition, and literate about Jung’s major interest in and contributions to the restoration of this venerable craft of depth healing.
Celebrated Jungian analyst Ann Belford Ulanov and renowned theologian Matthew Fox provide an elegant Care of Souls plenary leadership. Ulanov detailed her work through decades of writing, teaching and clinical inquiry. Fox specializes in one of Jung’s favorite care of soul’s mystics—Meister Eckhart.
Participants can earn up to 18.5 CEUs, from more than 30 extraordinary accompanying presentations on a wide variety of Care of Souls themes in family therapy, naturopathy, disability, end-of-life, youth, gender, sexuality, ethics, law, medicine, philosophy, alchemy, self-care, poesy, beauty, Kundalini, mysticism, ecology and more.
Acclaimed Poet David Whyte performs February 23. Practitioners of a variety of ancient spiritual traditions offer brief mindfulness moments before each major plenary session. Professionals from all walks of expertise— psychology, psychotherapy, medicine, law, education, religious and lay persons are welcome.
