Margaret O’Donnell, Seattle Immigration Attorney and author of the play, The Detention Lottery, joins us at Plymouth on Sunday, May 5. We are presenting her play to bring to light the stories of countless immigrants who are arraigned in immigration courts locally and at the border. The Detention Lottery has been performed by Attorney O’Donnell and her colleagues at locations in King County all year. She freely shared her scripts and materials with us, as well as her professional expertise, so our Immigration team could bring this powerful experience to you. Please join us in Hildebrand Hall this Sunday, May 5 from noon-1:30.
According to The Seattle Globalist, “Interactive drama The Detention Lottery sheds light on immigration court.”
