Climate Crisis Needs Plymouth to Engender Hope

February 11, 2020

This was the number-one challenge of Rev. Dr. John Dorhauer at our 150th Year Celebration. Churches must join with all the others who realize this is our most urgent concern. We all can bring hope through action. University Unitarian Church is offering a free day of idea sharing on Saturday, Feb. 15: Climate Crisis: A Call to Action. A light breakfast at 8:30 am precedes a panel discussion of NW options, followed by five breakout sessions (choose your preference). Lunch at noon and then networking and resource tables. The closing includes music, sharing reflections, and taking action. Child care available.

Come for part or all of the day. First step is to commit to attend, share, and learn. Second: let me know (by Feb. 8 is best) so carpooling can be set up. Complete information for registration will be in the Herald soon. For questions and to sign up for carpooling, please let me know at glendaycarper@gmail.com. Do come join us!  --Glenda Carper
