Fight Against Xenophobia

June 22, 2020

The intolerable racist and xenophobic attacks on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders at all levels of society and from all levels of government officials has continued, but needs to end now.

Please join with the National Officers of the UCC signing onto a letter denouncing false information that leads to xenophobia and racist actions taken around the country. So far we have nearly 600 signatories, but are hoping to get to 1,000 UCC Signatories, and need your help to spread the word.

While others respond with fear and hate, as Christians we are called to respond in love. We remember that the bible teaches us, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.”

Scapegoating and blaming Asian Americans for Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be deeply immoral, rooted in bad science, and extremely harmful to Asian Americans and society as a whole. The rise in attacks is horrific and must be countered with swift action. And you can play a role in that.

We need your help now, please sign and share to help us get 1,000 UCC signatories on the UCC sign on letter taking a stand against hate and racism.

Stay safe!
