Plymouth’s Immigration Ministry Team invites you to support Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) this Advent season, beginning Sunday, Dec. 2. The Giving Tree, located in the Lounge, has gift tags with specific items. Please take tags and return unwrapped items to the church office by Wednesday, Dec. 19.
When immigrant youth meet with attorneys, KIND uses toys and coloring activities to help facilitate conversation about trauma. Many of these young people have experienced trauma and abuse and this drive enables youth to take items with them after the screening process to provide comfort. Age range is 3 to 18, mostly teens. Items include everything from Silly Putty and Play Doh to stuffed animals and gift cards for Ross, Goodwill, Safeway and Target. Thank you for your generosity.

Help Jose Robles provide holiday gifts for his extended family. Jose has been unable to work at his painting business since entering Sanctuary at Gethsemane. Sign up to purchase gift(s) and deliver to Plymouth by December 16. Unwrapped gifts with a gift receipt and name/age of person you bought for are best.
Sign up to purchase a gift for a member of Jose's family here: https://www.volunteersignup.org/TLD74. Name, gender, age, interest and sizes are included. Updating done as information arrives. There are also places to sign up to give gift cards for groceries, gas and other needed items.
Plymouth Church UCC Worship is experienced on a Zoom Webinar platform, on our Plymouth YouTube Channel and Facebook pages each Sunday as we return to our program year format. Please join us for Worship, then for Coffee Hour ONLINE following on the separate Zoom meeting link.
We look to God for the breaking of oppression and healing in the land. Let us stand together with one voice as we watch, fight, and pray with life prioritized.
