Thanks to all who donated non-perishable food items to give to Northwest Harvest. Together with Seattle Infant Development Center (SIDC) we delivered nearly 200 pounds of food to the Cherry Street facility.
Through December and January, Plymouth collaborates with SIDC to collect new and gently used socks, gloves and childrens’ coats.
“We are teaching these young children the importance of sharing with those who are in need. It’s been great to see the light go on in their faces; they are so eager to give,” says Zada Lofton, who coordinated the effort.
Also, 7:30 am to 9:30 am, Wednesday, December 13, Plymouth Justice Leadership Intern Amanda Agrellas and Janice Randall host two welcome tables in conjuction with Union One & Union Two to collect much-needed school supplies for Seattle/King County Homeless Coalition’s “Project Cool,” and warm items for Mary’s Place. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated!
