Gratefulness Found at N-Sid-Sen!

July 29, 2014

Last week, more than 100 Plymouth members and friends gathered at N-Sid-Sen on the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene for our annual all ages camp. Despite some atypical cool, cloudy and stormy weather, we had a wonderful time exploring our theme, “Gratefulness: Lost and Found.”

“We were all inspired by songs, small groups, sharing, morning and evening worship and youth-led worship. The talent show was also a lot of fun,” said Rosemary. “Another way we lived out this theme was by making decoupage bowls for one another,” adds Courtney. Bowl makers young and old kept busy in the camp craft room creating a vivid tapestry of bowls of all colors and patterns, each made for another camper. By Wednesday evening, there was a bowl completed for every camper. Bowls were presented at Thursday morning worship. We even made a bowl for each member of the N-Sid-Sen staff as a token of our appreciation for their spectacular hospitality.

By Saturday’s closing communion, new friendships had been formed and old friendships reaffirmed. We left camp refreshed and renewed. If you missed N-Sid-Sen this year, we hope you consider attending next summer. Mark your calendar now for the last week in July 2015! Camp is a great way to get to know fellow Plymouth members and friends. Join us and share a week of fellowship in this magical place.
