Let the Strings Speak Love

August 13, 2019

Treat yourself to symphonic strings, soulful voices, and rhythmic beats as they join together to create a treat for the senses. Let The Strings Speak LOVE offers perspective on the many ways to understand the power of LOVE.

LET THE STRINGS SPEAK is the brainchild of Dr. Maxine Mimms, founder of Evergreen State College Tacoma campus and educator since 1950. Dr. Mimms has joined forces with violinist and educator, Dr. Lesa Terry, therapeutic harpist and pianist, Mona Terry, CMP, and project manager, Twanda Hill. Together they build models for concert presentations inclusive of music from the Pan African world that sustains and feeds the soul! “Now in our forth season, we are excited to present this unique program and invite the community to join us for an afternoon of healing.”

4 pm Saturday, August 24, 104 17th Ave South, Seattle. 206.323.7067 info@langstonseattle.org
