What does love look like? Hearts and flowers? The cozy comfort of home? The sacrificial giving of parents to their children that doesn’t feel like a sacrifice at all? I say yes to all of these.
At this moment at Plymouth, love looks like the very hard conversations and learning and transformation we’re having around race. It is hard work. I am astonished by the pain I feel and the amount of energy I need just to be a little bit engaged in this work.
It’s November. It’s raining. There are new stricter COVID rules in place. You could say it’s all too much. Let’s just focus on the hearts and flowers and cozy comforts for now – the hard stuff can wait. But it can’t. This is the moment. This is what God has called us to. This is love in action!
Besides, dodging the hard stuff wouldn’t be the Plymouth way. -Cindy Anderson

We look to God for the breaking of oppression and healing in the land. Let us stand together with one voice as we watch, fight, and pray with life prioritized.
