May 4, 2021
All are welcome to join in a virtual lunch event, Gathering In Gratitude, at noon on Saturday, May 15, as Plymouth Healing Communities takes the opportunity of its annual Plymouth Church event to mark the 20th anniversary of the opening of House of Healing on Beacon Hill. House of Healing is an emergency respite program, and home, for persons exiting in-patient psychiatric treatment after a mental health crisis. House of Healing remains at the heart of Plymouth Healing Communities’ mission to provide housing and support to those who have dealt with mental health and housing challenges.
At the May 15 event, we will hear from a number of those involved in House of Healing’s creation and its journey of the past 20 years: Rita Inoway, Dave and Marcia Regnier, Nancy Smith, Catherine Walker, Jerry and Sue Haas, Gary Southerton, Karen Gwilym, Marcia Almquist, and others. (No worries — we do not expect the event to last longer than about 30 minutes.)
We look forward to being with the Plymouth Church community on May 15.
