Friday, January 10, 7:30 pm Westminster Choir on Tour

Setting the standard for choral excellence since 1920, the Westminster Choir celebrates the 100th Anniversary of its founding with a program that reflects the ensemble’s spirit and mission. Works include Benjamin Britten’s Hymn to Saint Cecelia, Daniel Elder’s O Magnum Mysterium, Arnold Schönberg’s Friede auf Erden and works by Runestad, O’Regan and more.

Host Choir Members

Plymouth will host a wonderful concert by about 50 Westminster Choir College (Princeton NJ) students Friday January 10, and in return we have offered to house them overnight. Do you have a spare bedroom for two or more, and the capability of picking them up post-concert, feeding them Saturday breakfast, and then delivering them back to Plymouth Saturday morning January 11 by 8 am?  If so, they need your hospitality and I bet you’ll have a lot of fun giving it. Both men and women are coming, but your 2+ will be only the one, or the other. Sharing a room is OK, and bed-sized air mattresses are acceptable but not preferred. Please contact Mark Sandstrom by email if you can host, or just or questions.

Pick up a music brochure in the Lounge for a complete listing of concerts and special music at Plymouth this fall and winter, or download it here.  Invite a friend!
