At a recent Plymouth Adult Forum Judge Robin Hunt helpfully gave us some advice about selecting judges. Here is information from the web-site she recommended.
www.VotingforJudges.org is a nonpartisan, impartial source of information about judicial elections in the state of Washington. The Primary is the only election for many judicial races. The very important primary election, which will determine the final results in many instances, will conclude on August 7, and the general election will conclude November 6.
NOTE: Information accompanying many primary ballots states that "the two candidates who receive the most votes in the primary will advance to the general election." This is incorrect for many judicial elections. If a candidate in a judicial election receives a majority of the votes cast in the primary, that is the end of the contest. The primary is your only chance to make a choice in races with two candidates.
The Primary is the only election for many judicial races. Vote August 7!
