Plymouth UCC and the wider church humbly thank all who contributed to the World Communion Special offering Sunday, October 7. Thanks to you, we received just shy of $3,300.00 in the offering plate to be evenly divided between Neighbors in Need and Plymouth Scholarship Fund. We will continue to receive gifts toward the World Communion special offering through October.
Neighbors in Need (NIN) is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. One-third of NIN funds support the Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM). Two-thirds of the offering is used by the UCC's Justice and Witness Ministries (JWM) to support justice initiatives, advocacy efforts and direct service projects through grants. This year, special consideration is given to projects focusing on serving our immigrant neighbors and communities.
Your gifts to Plymouth Scholarship Fund enable members and friends who are experiencing financial hardship to participate in numerous opportunities offered by and through Plymouth UCC. Thank you!Subscribe
