Undoing Institutional Racism

October 6, 2019

Check your calendars now to participate in People’s Institute Northwest (PINW) 2019 two-day training at Plymouth UCC (December 12-13). The fabric of racism is woven and constructed into the founding principles of the United States. Racism was done and it can be undone. Workshops analyze power and how it is used to maintain racial divides, in hopes of achieving equity and equality. It is the intention that all Plymouth leadership participate in this important workshop as part of our ongoing commitment to social justice. People’s Institute NW holds 10 slots per training for members/friends of Plymouth UCC. Contact Diane: DJacobsen@PlymouthChurchSeattle.org. Any open slots within 30 days of trainings will be released back to PINW. Fee is $350 and includes lunch both days. Partial scholarships available.
