There are three newly released podcasts called, “Sanctuary in Downtown Seattle,” which tell more about our sanctuary guest, Jose Robles, as well as other immigration issues. They are well done - informative, honest and thought-provoking. Laughter, pain, surprise, tenderness and anger were all parts of my personal response as a listener at different times. In addition to Jose and his daughters, hear from Gethsemane’s pastors, Rev. Joanne Engquist and Rev.Kari Lipke, Michael Ramos and Briana Brannon from the Church Council of Greater Seattle, Plymouth member Betsy Hale and others. If you don’t have a podcast app on your phone, you can listen here.
More episodes are planned for the coming weeks. I hope you'll listen and share them with others. If you have questions about immigration and sanctuary or responses to what you heard, please talk with me or anyone on the Immigration Ministry Team so we can try to address them. Thanks very much.
