We Stand with Our Muslim Neighbors

March 19, 2019

Please join as we stand with Muslim friends and neighbors 12:45 to 2:15 pm, Friday, March 22 and March 29, here at Plymouth, at the corner of 6th Ave and Seneca. Bring signs! As you may know, our Muslim community prays in Plymouth’s Hildebrand Hall every Friday. Help surround them with love and suupport as we welcome them to our sacred space.

“May we vow to stop meeting this way, grieving yet another mass murder fueled by hate, fear and ignorance. Let us commit to meet again in celebration that violence, Islamophobia, and white nationalism has ended, and sacred spaces are indeed places of peace.” said Rev. Dr. Kelle Brown, speaking at an interfaith vigil and anti-Islamophobia rally March 18.

Dr. Brown will lead singing and offer the benediction at Beating Guns Tour, 6-8 pm Sunday, March 31 at The Well in Queen Anne United Methodist Church (1606 5th Ave W, Seattle, 98119). This event features music, art and stories of people impacted by gun violence, culminating with an invitation for the audience to take a hammer and transform a gun into garden tools. All are invited
