Have you participated in Undoing Institutional Racism Training (UIR)? Every quarter, The Village of Hope, European Dissent and Plymouth Church host a debrief for anyone who has completed UIR training. The debrief is geared toward those who have taken the training in the last three months, but everyone is welcome. Many who attend took the training months or years before the last quarter.
Each debrief is different, and this July, Plymouth is the focus. Collectively, the group that is present will help us do a power analysis of our history and look at our "foot of oppression." I am so excited! This is a great way to connect to the larger anti-racist network and an opportunity to view our history through a new lens - just in time for our 150th anniversary! The goal is not only to help us on our journey forward, and to also actively show other organizations working towards transformation and anti-racism what one small step in that process looks like. Please join us Monday, July 1 in the Lounge at 6 pm. Dinner will be served. -Elizabeth MaherSubscribe
