Wanderlust Women's Choir Concert Sunday, June 23

June 18, 2019

Wanderlust Women’s Choir of Seattle seeks to connect with people around the world, promoting understanding and community through the sharing of beautiful, inspiring choral music. Co-conducted by Beth Ann Bonnecroy and Dori Baunsgard, Wanderlust was formed expressly to sing and travel. The 39 auditioned singers of Wanderlust combine their experience from several award-winning choirs in the Seattle area. Many are conductors, professional singers, or music educators. Included among the singers are our own Director of Music Wanda Griffiths and soprano Catie Wilson. You are invited to preview their Eastern European concert tour music on Sunday afternoon, June 23, at 4 pm in the beautiful acoustic of Plymouth Church’s Sanctuary. The concert is free and open to the public, and includes music by Abbie Betinis, Joan Szymko, Rabindrath Tagore, Ko Matsushita, Rene Clausen, Moira Smiley, and Ola Gjeilo, as well as works sung in Slovenian and Hungarian.
