Healing Communities Renovates Eng House

July 1, 2019

Plymouth Healing Communities is pleased and excited to announce that the renovation of our newest property began in June. Eng House, which is located next door to the iconic House of Healing on Beacon Hill, was purchased in 2017 and we have been eagerly awaiting the finalization of city and state funding that will allow us to turn this beautiful house into a home for seven residents who are living with mental illness and homelessness and a companion to share the journey.

We are partnering with Corvid Construction, a woman-owned general contracting firm, for the renovation and anticipate the House will be opened to new residents in early 2020.The first step, lifting the house so that the basement ceiling can be raised and the foundation fortified, was completed on June 17!

We are so grateful to the Plymouth Church donors who, through your generous gifts to the Eng House capital campaign, made this dream a possibility. Thank You!
