Back to School with Your Help

August 27, 2019

Families everywhere are busy getting ready for school. Immigrant students would especially appreciate your help in providing backpacks of all sizes and styles. The IRC (International Rescue Committee) is collecting backpacks, school supplies, and Old Navy gift cards for school uniforms to distribute to these students. Packs of pencils and pens, erasers, pocket folders, notebook paper, graph paper, 3-ring binders, dividers, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, colored pencils, crayons, markers, rulers and scientific calculators are all welcome but backpacks are the highest need.

Contributions can be mailed to the IRC or dropped off during business hours (M-F 9-5pm): 1200 S 192nd St., Suite 101, SeaTac 98148. Or, if you don't need a tax receipt, you can bring them to the Immigration Table in the Lounge on Sunday, September 8. Thank you for helping these students get off to a good start this year.
