Friday, December 13, 8 pm Choral Arts Northwest: Not One Sparrow is Forgotten

Traditional carols paired with intimate interludes by Seattle guitarist Robert McCaffery-Lent. Highlights include charming Appalachian carols by CANW Composer in Residence Kevin Siegfried, Silly Shepherds by NW composer Bern Herbolsheimer, and enchanting choral gems by Purcell, Howells, and Susan LaBarr. Afro-Celtic Christmas Concert

City Cantabile Choir, directed by Frederick N. West, presents Afro-Celric Christmas, featuring Kent Stevenson’s ‘Gospel Magnificat’ with the Shades of Praise Gospel Choir (Rev. Dr. Kelle Brown, soloist), plus Traditional Celtic carols and step dancers with Tom Creegan on Uilleann Pipes and Dale Russ on fiddle. Friday, December 20, 7:30 pm Longest Night with Michael Powers

Join Rev. Dr. Kelle Brown and Jazz musician Michael Powers for the longest night of the year, in the Sanctuary with refreshments following. Spoken word and scripture will be interspersed with Powers’ jazz and blues guitar. Walk the labyrinth in Hildebrand Hall before the service, from 6-7 pm.

Christmas Eve Tuesday, Dec 24, 5 pm and 9 pm

Experience the beauty and wonder of the season through beloved carols and beautiful music presented by Plymouth’s choirs, ringers, and instrumentalists. Be inspired by readings, stories and reflections on what God’s great gift means to us today. Pre-service music starts at 4:30 pm and 8:30 pm, so come early.
