Jennifer Castle, Pastoral Intern

October 1, 2019

As I start the second year of my seminary journey I am also starting a year of supervised ministry here at Plymouth. In addition to my duties as your Director of Faith Formation, I am adding responsibilities this year as part of my pastoral internship to prepare me to become an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. To that end, you will see me in worship leading liturgy and preaching more often. I have also joined the pastoral care team and have started attending the weekly care team meetings. I will be supported this year by a Ministry Support Committee made up of congregation members and led by Cory Maclay. I am really excited about my seminary studies and find it so gratifying to apply what I am learning to my work at Plymouth. I feel so blessed to be supported by the staff and congregation in this endeavor, and look forward to being your Pastoral Intern this year.
