With great joy and anticipation, Plymouth Healing Communities (PHC) invites Plymouth Church members and friends to attend the open house for Argonaut House 2, 12:30 -2:30 pm, Sunday, May 18. This beautiful six-unit expansion of Argonaut House in Seattle’s central district is located at 539 23rd Avenue S., Seattle, WA. New construction includes common areas for the building’s existing eight residents. The project is made possible with grants from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle and generous donations from PHC supporters, many of whom are Plymouth Church members. These six new units will provide a home to people who are homeless and living with mental illness.
This is PHC’s first construction project and the culmination of several years of work and cooperation with both public and private funders, Harborview Mental Health and Addiction Services, Bellwether Housing and Rafn Construction. Since this work is important to you, we hope you will share in the celebration!
