More than a dozen regional faith communities gather this Sunday for a march to the ballot in support of closing the background check loophole in Washington State. March begins at 2 pm, Sunday, October 19, Temple De Hirsch Sinai, 1511 E Pike Street and ends at the King County Administration Building, where participants will cast their ballots.
Stops along the way include First AME Church, St. James Cathedral and Plymouth Church UCC. This effort is supported by The Church Council of Greater Seattle, Faith Action Network and The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle in conjunction with 17 interdenominational faith communities.
