Doug Cleveland plays in UW Faculty Recital

Douglas Cleveland, John Delo Faculty Fellow in Organ, and David Gordon, Artist in Residence in trumpet, perform music for trumpet and organ of Baroque and 21st century composers, 7:30 pm, Monday, February 9, in Walker-Ames Room, Kane Hall, University of Washington. Repertoire includes Sonata in D Major by Henry Purcell and Sonata for Trumpet and Organ by G.D. Viviani.

Gordon, whose playing has been described as “spectacular” by the Chicago Tribune, is Principal Trumpet for Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Opera and Grant Park Symphony Orchestra, Chicago.
