Welcome Justice Leadership Program interns!

September 8, 2015

Ann Marie Do and Hannah Long-Higgins join Plymouth this year as our Justice Leadership Interns. Meet and greet them during service this Sunday.

Ann grew up in Daley City, California and graduated with a BA in Communications and a double minor in Sociology/Anthropolgy and Gender Studies, from University of Puget Sound. Her work with the Church Council of Greater Seattle will revolve heavily around issues of family homelessness. Ann Marie comes from a Catholic background and is eager to learn and engage with all aspects of the UCC. She hopes to teach and lead reflections during her time at Plymouth.

Hannah is a native of Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Heidelberg University with a BA in International Studies and English. An active UCC member, she will intern at Unite Here Local 8 and looks forward to learning about immigration and economic justice in Seattle. She hopes to create opportunities for women and immigrants to share their life narratives with the wider community.
