'Living the Questions' Enlivens Neighborhoods Soon!

April 17, 2016

Spring neighborhood groups are coming soon! For these gatherings, the Adult Education Board chose the Living the Questions DVD sessions as an entry into small group discussion about progressive Christian faith in the 21st century. Groups begin early May and meet for four sessions. Each meeting begins by watching a 20 minute video, which includes conversations with leading voices of faith, sermon and lecture clips, digital stories illustrating aspects of evolving faith and concrete spiritual practices. Group discussion will follow each video segment. Topics offered for this series are:

  • Taking the Bible Seriously
  • Thinking Theologically
  • Lives of Jesus
  • Out into the World: Challenges Facing Progressive Christians

If you are interested in participating in one of our neighborhood groups this spring, please contact Jennifer Castle at 206.622.4865, ext. 16 or JCastle@PlymouthChurchSeattle.org with your contact information and neighborhood meeting preference. We are also still recruiting group leaders, so please let us know if you would like to lead and/or host a group. Training and resources provided for group leaders.
