9 am Worship: Amazing Grace

May 30, 2016

The culmination worship series for our 9 am worship services is themed, Amazing Grace. What better way to end what has been a joyful and inclusive experience among God’s people?

Inspired by the hymn, Amazing Grace will feature diverse music, poetry, movement and untraditional prayer practice. Scripture and testimony will be given by Plymouth members. The focus of this series is healing and reconciliation, and each Sunday offers a ritual designed to invite all who come to participate with head and heart.

Come and experience the ring shout, a spiritual ritual brought with Africans enslaved in the Americas, and pray the Lord’s prayer using Shibashi movements. All are welcomed to pray, sing and move together as the authentic community of Plymouth Church. –Kelle Brown
