Plymouth Church is one of about 110 'Advocating Faith Communities' as part of Faith Action Network (FAN). FAN keeps us informed about legislative action guide our individual values and faith commitments.  FAN prepared a Ballot Initiative Guide with background information about the five ballot initiatives that FAN's Governing Board has taken positions. The guide is posted on the bulletin board outside the church office. For questions on any of FAN's policy positions, please call 206.625.9790 or email fan@fanwa.org

Here is the short list of the initiatives FAN endorses: 
I-732 - Carbon Emission Tax and Sales Tax Reduction 
I-735 - A measure to urge the Washington State Congressional delegation to propose a federal constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United 
I-1433 - Concerning labor standards of raising the state minimum wage and instituting a paid sick and safe leave law
I-1464 - The Washington Government Accountability Act
I-1491 - Concerns court-issued extreme risk protection orders to temporarily prevent access to firearms
