This Sunday, in both 9 and 11 am worship services, give thanks to God and celebrate in generosity! Gather under the theme of “Letting Go,” embrace the “Transformation” that God brings and allow the joy of seeing the new thing that God is at work doing in us at Plymouth. Please bring your 2017 Pledge card in the envelope provided (or return it to Plymouth by mail if you’ll be away) so we may respond to God’s vision, hope and love through our acts of expressing faith in generosity. Pledges will be placed in the basket on the table as an act of worship and declaration of our desire to affirm the ministry and mission to which God calls and uses each of us through Plymouth Church UCC. We all have the opportunity to affirm, “I’m In!”
At 10 am Faith & Life hour, get a first look at dreams and hopes reflected in the 2017 Budget. Following the 11 am service, gather for an ALL-Church Celebration Sunday luncheon in Hildebrand Hall. Menu includes “Stone Soup” created by the Children’s Ministry team and brisket from Uncle Mike’s BBQ with sides! There will be entertainment, and together we will wait for the grand total to be shared.
We give thanks to God and celebrate in generosity, for on this day, we will each say with joy, hope and faith, that God is doing a new thing at Plymouth Church UCC. We are grateful for all the ways we affirm who we are in faith and share our generosity as an expression of our faith. I’m thrilled to join you in saying, Plymouth Church UCC is MY PLACE of faith and life, and I’M IN!” See you this Sunday. Yours in grace and hope –Rev. Steven DavisSubscribe
